I'm baaacckkk! As you may or may not know, I'd left Miami for Tampa a couple of months back and thought to myself, "What can I do to really make Tampa feel like my new home" And after throwing a couple of ideas around, it came to me. "Why not take pictures of strangers? Yet again."

Street Style: On Campus Edition

Although technically, we've been "back to school" for a while now, I found myself searching for more school outfit ideas. I know, I know, it's December but honestly at this point, my closet just wasn't speaking to me anymore. Karl Lagerfeld did say that sweatpants are a sign of defeat. 

So browsing through video after video, Polyvore after Pintrest, I saw that the only things that I could see myself wearing to school was more street style, less sweats. So, of course I had to stop and ask random strangers for their take on street style. Anything for you guys ;)

For as long as I can remember, I've thought that Danish model Freja Beha Erichsen is one of the coolest models around. She can go from gorgeous and classy to grungy and a badass and she just seems to do it so effortlessly. And let's not forget about her street style. She's always put forth this whole kicking ass, taking names persona that just speaks to me on a personal level.

Modelspiration: Shalom Harlow

One of the coolest and stylish and classic model from the 90s that I've always loved is Shalom Harlow. This Canadian beauty owned the catwalk, exudes such class while being a complete badass. If the movie Craft employed supermodels, Shalom Harlow would be the character Nancy Downs. (P.S. If you haven't seen The Craft, watch it now, BUT make sure it's with a friend.) Now in her late 30s, she's still as cool as ever venturing into acting as well as keeping up with her modeling career.

Currently, my greatest inspiration is model and DJ Chloe Nørgaard with her wild Rainbow Brite hair and eclectic style.  There's a certain '90s nostalgia that accompanies some of her looks.  What I admire most is her bold attitude amongst the modeling industry -- queue "Bad Reputation" by Joan Jett.

Nostalgic for the '90s: Crop Tops Love

You see, I love crop tops. I have yet to find the perfect one but nonetheless, they are cute, fun, flirty and just very in theme with my whole '90s look'.  So in honor of that, I am creating some crop top outfit combinations that will appropriate for almost any event.

Nostalgic for the '90s: JuJu Jellies

I'm my 5 year-old self again wearing black jellies with frilly white socks and high waisted shorts.  The dream of the '90s stayed alive in Portland, and I'm bringing it back to Miami.  With the onslaught of storms, our college campus is flooded, and my jellies are the perfect shoe choice for this weather.

I've even made an elaborate list to tell you why JeLLiEs✿RuLe✿4✿RaiN:

1. They have a buckled strap meaning they aren't flip-flops meaning my feet won't be sliding out of my wet shoes as I speed between classes and sprint from building to building
2. They aren't completely closed, so after stepping in a puddle, my feet will quickly dry
3. SOCKS ARE OPTIONAL! Do you understand the magnitude of this perk?  It means NO SOGGY SOCKS!  I wasn't kidding when I said the streets are flooded here.  Stepping in puddles that are ankle high is unavoidable.  Stepping in them with boots or sneakers means damp socks for the rest of the day, and that is not a feeling I enjoy
4. They're unique.  I don't see many people wearing them.  Wearing this boot too often gets boring.
